The Blonde Bear Tavern at the Edelweiss Lodge will be hosting a very special wine dinner as part of the 27th Annual Taos Winter Wine Festival. We invite you to join Mr. Jon Mudder, the Blonde Bear’s Food and Beverage manager, on Friday, February 1st, in welcoming Mr. René Schlatter, president and operations manager of Merryvale Vineyards for a one of a kind wine dinner experience.
The dinner will feature six of Merryvale’s most notable wins combined with a menu Jon and his staff have developed to highlight the wines in a way that will engage the palate of both wine connoisseurs and novice wine lovers alike. More details can be found on the attached flyer. Reservations required. Contact the Blonde Bear Tavern at 575-737-6900 ext. 6996 for more details or to make a reservation.
Opened in 2005, this lodge at the base of the mountain took the place of a 1960s classic chalet. Now, it's a brand new condo-hotel. The condominiums are upscale, each with a flagstone fireplace and full kitchen with marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and many with nice views of the slopes. All have luxury furnishings decorated in earth tones. For those looking for an upscale stay, this is your choice. Hotel rooms follow with the same luxury as the condos. Rooms are medium size with comfortable beds and medium-size baths. Check the website for a glimpse of the rooms and other facilities. Underground parking, a full spa, an excellent restaurant, and -- get this -- valet service for your skis, add to the appeal. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby.
