This residence features a classy art déco style with a very clean and contemporary feel and is located directly above the Rio Hondo. This peaceful 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom first floor condo at the Edelweiss Lodge and Spa has lovely views of the neighboring Rio Hondo, Taos Ski Valley Village and the mountains to the north.

The living room is centered around the custom stone gas fireplace and the modern flat screen television mounted above. There is a comfortable couch and sitting chair in the living and a relaxing leather recliner and ottoman are set off in the corner “nook” surrounded by windows and great views- the perfect place to catch up on reading or perhaps even a little work should the need arise. This unit also has a balcony perched over the neighboring river with views to the north and west.

Hardwood floors are present throughout the unit with tile in bathrooms. A very well outfitted kitchen is complete with dishwasher, stove, microwave, two door under counter refrigerator, Viking wine refrigerator and all necessary cooking utensils and dishes, plus an espresso machine, and large mixer. A solid granite counter top/bar with 3 bar stools is ready for your wine and cheese after a big day in the mountains. The dining area has a contemporary wooden table with 6 chairs.

The two bedrooms are designed with peace and comfort in mind. There is a Tempurpedic Queen platform bed in the master bedroom, hardwood floors, large flat screen TV/DVD and nice views. The master bath offers a full sized bath tub and separate glass shower stall, plus a double vanity. The second bedroom has a bunk bed set and a sofa that can convert into two twin beds or a king bed depending on the guests’ needs; the second bedroom also has a wall-mounted flat screen television and DVD player. The second bath has a deep tub/shower combo with a single vanity.

If that’s not enough, check out the spa services on the first floor, including a dry sauna, hot tub and exercise room with updated exercise equipment and free weights. The kids will enjoy the Edelweiss’ shared game room equipped with a pool table, foosball table and big screen TV.
